The 1756-L62S is a communication protocol module by Allen-Bradley which features unique communication benefits. This module is a GuardLogix Controller with a 4 MB memory and a 6 MB safety memory. This GuardLogix controller module is a certified controller system for use in safety applications. This GuardLogix controller system supports both SIL3 and PLe safety applications.
The GuardLogix controller clubs the primary controller and the safety partner for unified functioning. This 1756-L62S runs on RS Logix5000 software of version 18 or later and supports smart OS upgrades along with user program storage as well as retrieval with the help of an external memory card. The model has a 4 MB memory for standard tasks while 1 MB memory dedicated for the safety tasks and other like components.
The smart and efficient key switches are placed on the front of the primary controller which allows operation of the controller modes in a convenient way.
