The Rosemount 8800 Reducer Vortex Flow Meter utilizes the trusted electronics, sensor, and meter body of the Rosemount 8800 Series while harnessing the benefits of integral reducers to accurately measure lower flow rates. This design eliminates field assembly and welding of separate reducers and piping, thereby greatly reducing installation costs and project risk. Additionally, the face-to-face dimensions of the Rosemount 8800 Reducer match that of the traditional Rosemount 8800 Series for ultimate versatility.

 The Rosemount 8800 CriticalProcess Vortex Flow Meter allows for safe, on-line sensor replacement. The additional needle valve creates a double block and bleed to safely access the sensor housing. This allows users to remove the Vortex flow sensor without shutting down the process and provides an added level of safety in critical applications with aggressive or high temperature flows. The unique design eliminates the need for bypass lines or preventative sensor replacement, reducing overall installed costs.

 The Rosemount 8800 MultiVariable Vortex Flow Meter option combines temperature and flow devices into a single, highly accurate instrument, eliminating the costly installation of two separate devices. The integrated, removable temperature sensor is isolated from the process and separate from the Vortex flow sensor. This facilitates independent verification or replacement of each sensor without shutdown or breaking the process seal. Additionally, the MultiVariable Vortex automatically adjusts for changes in density, making it easy to accurately measure mass and corrected volume in steam and liquid applications
